Livestock and Aquaculture
Improving livestock food digestibility and feed conversion ratios, advances in animal health monitoring and illness prevention, advances in sustainable land-based aquaculture.
TerraBiome is developing a proprietary, microalgae-based feed additive that significantly reduces methane emissions from cows – by up to 75%, while boosting feed efficiency and supporting higher milk yields.
The additive works by naturally inhibiting methanogenic archaea in the rumen, reducing enteric fermentation without harming animal health.
Safe, effective, and economically viable, our solution requires no reimbursement or subsidies, making it practical for widespread.
With proven in-vitro results and a strong focus on animal welfare and climate impact, TerraBiome offers a scalable pathway toward sustainable livestock farming
Eco2Protein is a pioneering biotechnology company converting industrial CO₂, CO, and H₂ emissions into valuable low-carbon products. Using a proprietary biological conversion platform, the system is integrated directly into industrial sites to transform harmful waste gases into two sustainable outputs: protein-rich biomass for animal feed and aquaculture, and low-carbon ethanol suitable for industrial applications and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) production.
Targeting two fast-growing global markets – alternative ethanol (>$100B) and alternative protein (>$30B) – Eco2Protein delivers both economic and environmental impact. By replacing carbon-intensive fishmeal and contributing to clean fuel supply chains, the platform supports global decarbonization and circular economy goals.
Led by a multidisciplinary team with deep experience in energy, industrial biotech, and protein production, Eco2Protein is engineered for rapid scale-up, efficient deployment, and alignment with high-emission industries. By preventing the release of greenhouse gases and converting them into climate-positive resources, Eco2Protein enables a transformative step toward net-zero industrial operations
BioArmix is a field-proven, nature-based technology that prevents crop losses caused by bacterial diseases using non-GMO, eco-friendly predatory bacteria. Unlike chemical bactericides or indirect biocontrol products, BioArmix directly eliminates plant pathogens without harming crops or the environment, and with no risk of generating resistant bacteria.
We offer a scalable and sustainable alternative to harmful chemicals. Our breakthrough lies in a proprietary formulation that enables the long-term, room-temperature storage of viable predatory bacteria as a dry powder, combined with a cost-effective and scalable production method unmatched globally.
In field trials, BioArmix demonstrated a 7% yield increase and a 65% reduction in post-harvest decay.
While our initial focus is on potatoes, BioArmix’s platform has also demonstrated strong results in controlling aquaculture pathogens and preventing biofilms in irrigation and industrial systems, highlighting its broader market potential.
We aim to launch by 2027, pending regulatory approval, with advanced development already underway.
BioArmix is technically ready and now focused on regulatory execution, scale-up of production, and preparing for commercialization.
YAMIM is a climate-tech aquaculture startup that uses on-site computer vision and cloud AI to produce and optimize natural live feed from local aquatic microorganisms, replacing a significant share of imported, industrial feed. By closing nutrient loops on the farm, we reduce feed shipping and embedded emissions by an estimated 50–60%, improve circular use of water and biomass, and strengthen local farm economies.
Our precision feeding and live-feed production lower nitrite and waste loads, creating cleaner aquatic environment and more resilient ecosystems, while improving feed conversion ratios and fish health. YAMIM directly advances SDGs around sustainable food systems, responsible production, and life below water, and targets a massive opportunity to disrupt how protein is grown in over 500,000 aquafarms worldwide and a $120B global market.
YDLabs provides Agri-Foodtech companies with fermentation process development and process optimization services, from lab scale to 1,000L.
Our facilities include state-of-the-art lab-scale fermenters (1-10L), 80L, 300L & 1,000L fermenters as well as comprehensive purification and isolation downstream equipment.
Our technical team has dozens of experience years. We work closely with companies from the planning stage and until a workplan is agreed. Then, we provide fast, results-driven service so our clients are able to move forward to the next scale-up with a scalable and sustainable process.
We work with companies from all over the world. We provide online data to our clients, as well as constant updates and consultation about their process development/optimization. At NanoClear, we apply NanoMaterial Technology to advance water and wastewater treatment. Our core product, ProBio Media (PBM), is a result of 15 years of R&D, designed to transform the biological treatment process. With its high surface area and unique structure (80% porosity), PBM promotes bacterial growth and prevents clogging, allowing for more efficient treatment while reducing sludge and chemical use.
PBM increases treatment capacity by up to 40%, all within the same footprint, and can be seamlessly retrofitted into existing systems. It is currently applied in wastewater treatment, algae control, and aquaculture, delivering significant improvements without the need for additional energy or chemicals.
Our mission is to enhance treatment processes, protect ecosystems, and create sustainable water solutions. PBM is a versatile tool that not only improves performance but also minimizes environmental impact, making it a powerful choice for addressing the complex challenges of water management.
Pure Blue Fish (PBF) is bringing a new and innovative inland aquaculture solution which will provide healthier, premium, seafood in a local, sustainable environment.
PBF’s advanced, zero-water discharge Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS) is a unique, new aquaculture technology in which the water is treated by biotech and microbial biotechnology methods. PBF applies environmentally friendly technologies intended to reduce ocean overfishing and contamination.
This system will supply a highly nutritional, traceable, and healthy fish (free of heavy metals and micro-plastic). Importantly, PBF farms can be located anywhere, without the need to be close to a major water source, which is a key differentiator from most every aquaculture farm in operation today.

GiliOcean Technology designed, manufactured, operated and managed the world’s largest open-ocean commercial fish farm. Moving fish out to the open ocean, their natural habitat, where the oxygen levels are ideal, and the natural micro-elements help the fish grow faster and healthier, with a negligible, to no use of antibiotics.
GO SMART, GiliOcean’s smart farming division, uses AI, machine-learning and big-data to analyze the water quality as well as fish biomass, mortality, and behavior. Providing crucial continuous information for farmers, they can then make precise data-based decisions, better manage, and monitor fish stock. This leads to increased efficiency, better crop yield and lower environmental impact.
