Omerna’s mission is to reduce crop loss by developing targeted, dsRNA-based solutions that protect crops from fungal pathogens.
Between 30% and 45% of agricultural produce is lost from farm to fork: an estimated $940 billion every year, and a large share of that loss is driven by fungal disease. Conventional chemical fungicides are environmentally harmful and drive pathogen resistance, and tightening regulations are lowering maximum residue levels and removing active ingredients from approved lists, leaving farmers with fewer effective tools.
There is a clear need for effective, targeted alternatives to chemical fungicides.
Omerna addresses this with spray-induced gene silencing (SIGS): dsRNA sprays that suppress specific genes in the target pathogen, paired with a proprietary encapsulation mechanism that protects the dsRNA construct and controls its release in the field.
Because the approach targets the pathogen’s own genetic sequences, it is designed to be highly species-specific, addressing a $20 billion global fungicide market.

Rhythmos is building the operating system for farming: turning agronomic knowledge and field data into plot-specific, executable workplans that tell farmers exactly what to do, when, and how.

Today, that knowledge lives in manual protocols and individual agronomists’ heads, with nothing to catch what falls through the cracks, and one missed or mistimed action can cost an entire season. Existing tools are not enough to close that gap: precision ag is expensive and narrow, and farm management software tracks records without prescribing action.

Rhythmos combines individual farm and plot protocols, agronomic best practices, up-to-date and historical field data, and collective farmer knowledge through CORE, its recommendation engine, generating a complete operational plan grounded in each farm’s own history and financial trade-offs. Every recommendation goes through the farmer’s review before execution: the agronomic intelligence is ours, the decision is always theirs.

Our mission is to preserve generational farming knowledge before it retires, put it directly into the hands of every grower, and give farms a practical path to transition toward regenerative practices without sacrificing operational precision.

Our vision is a world where every farm, regardless of size or access to expertise, operates with the precision of the best-run farms today, strengthening food security, farm resilience, and climate adaptation across the industry.

Bestree is an Israeli AgTech company developing a molecular propagation platform for crops that are difficult to propagate at scale.

Many high-value crops, including avocado, cacao, nuts, and other woody plants, face a major bottleneck at the nursery stage: elite genetics exist, but producing uniform, disease-free, true-to-type plants reliably and at industrial scale remains slow, costly, and inconsistent. This limits growers’ ability to expand production, improve resilience, and adopt better plant material.

Bestree combines molecular markers, advanced tissue culture protocols, and data-driven propagation know-how to identify the optimal biological window for rooting and acclimatization. Our platform turns plant propagation from a trial-and-error process into a controlled, repeatable production system.

We are starting with avocado as our beachhead crop, where global demand for high-quality clonal rootstocks significantly exceeds supply. From there, the same platform can be expanded to additional recalcitrant crops with strong climate, food security, and commercial relevance.

Our goal is to industrialize plant propagation and help growers access better plants, faster, at scale

RumaFeed is a seed trait company that uses gene editing (CRISPR) to remove glycoalkaloids from potatoes and tomatoes.
Until now, potato and tomato growers typically had to destroy up to ~35% of the biomass they invested in. With RumaFeed’s technology, that biomass can be used without extra effort. Farmers can earn more from the same crop, the world benefits from less reliance on dangerous chemicals and more protein sources, and processors can produce more nutritious outputs at lower cost.
      1.    For seed companies – enabling new varieties, and extending royalties and rights for existing varieties.
      2.    For processors – lowering costs: reducing the cost of processing these crops for starch and protein, saving water and electricity, and reducing the need for dangerous materials. Potato peel that was previously removed can be used with far lower concern about toxicity.
      3.    For farmers – potato/tomato haulm can be used as a highly nutritious food & feed source, increasing farm revenues.
      4.    For potato sellers – offering a “better potato”: higher usable protein, and longer shelf life since potatoes are less likely to become problematic when greening

MEND, formerly ReGen, makes a complete living soil microbiome: bacteria, fungi, protozoa and the beneficial nematodes, plus natural metabolites, concentrated without killing the biology. We restore the biology that makes the nutrients already in the soil available to the plant.

Most biological products introduce a single isolated strain into a system that only works as a group. Our concentrate contains the complete microbial groups and runs on equipment the farm already owns, through seed treatment, fertigation or foliar spray.

Four independent institutions have tested it, and we ran none of the trials. The Ministry of Agriculture measured 14% more nitrogen intake in wheat. MIGAL measured about 80% less fungal infection in cotton. Evogene maintained onion yield on half the nitrogen. HaMadama and the Volcani Center saw broomrape pressure suppressed in sunflower.

Today MEND works with commercial growers in Israel across wheat, cotton, onion, sunflower, strawberry, potato, avocado and mango, plus four large nurseries running pilots. More than 1,000 microbial species are identified by DNA sequencing of the formulation, and diversity is steered through feedstock ratios. There are no patents for now, by choice. The process is a trade secret.

Currently, the lack of technology for continuous real-time soil nutrient monitoring leads farmers to overapply fertilizers during the growing season.
As a result, 40%, and more, of the applied nitrogen-based fertilizers leach out of the root zone in nitrate form, which translates to heavy capital losses to the farmers due to the wasted fertilizers, as well as to huge environmental and ecological damage in form of groundwater contamination and greenhouse gas emissions (both CO2 & N2O).
Based on years of academic research and four registered patents, Data of The Soil (DOTS) develoepd electro-optical sensors and proprietary analysis algorithms that enable real-time, continuous, and affordable nitrate monitoring.
To date, DOTS is the only company that holds such technology for continuous real-time, in-situ nitrate analysis, which can help in optimizing fertilizer application for the agricultural industry.
Fertilizer production is known to generate great CO2 emissions (close to 10X on the applied fertilizer), and the overdose is also known to cause the emission of N2O gas from the soil, which is an extremely potent greenhouse gas. In a world where governments and regulating bodies are fighting climate change by reducing greenhouse gas emissions, farmers who are using DOTS systems, and thus optimizing fertilizer usage can gain valuable carbon credits (by reducing applied fertilizers) and help in the effort of making a better world.
DOTS’ dramatic technological breakthrough has the potential to impact farming budgets around the world, as well as significantly reduce the environmental damage caused by polluted groundwater and GHG emissions.
