Every year, PLANETech tracks the Israeli climate tech ecosystem in the State of Climate Tech Report, the benchmark picture that investors, corporates, policymakers, and international partners use to understand where the sector is heading and how it is growing over time.
To represent your startup accurately in the report, and to keep our information current, we need your latest details: your stage, your focus area, your team, what you are building, and the challenges you are facing. It takes less than 10 minutes.
This is worth doing even if you are not taking part in PLANETech Week. It is how we get to know your company, track how the ecosystem is evolving, and understand how we can support you through the year.
The report has tracked the Israeli climate tech ecosystem for five consecutive years, and each edition builds on the last.
Everything you share is used only in aggregate. We never publish individual company data.

We’re bringing together startups innovating across the critical minerals value chain: exploration, extraction, processing and purification, materials and magnets, recycling, and the digital and energy systems that support them.
Our goal is to connect startups with mining companies, industrial partners, investors, and downstream manufacturers.

Aviation is being rebuilt across the whole value chain: sustainable fuels, electric and hybrid propulsion, advanced materials and lightweighting, smarter airline operations, airport energy and infrastructure, passenger and cargo flow, and the uncrewed systems reshaping low airspace.
We’re bringing Israeli startups working across these domains together with airlines and manufacturers, airports, investors, and industry partners, to explore where the real needs sit and where technology is ready to meet them.

Moving from a proven technology to a first commercial-scale deployment is one of climate tech’s hardest transitions.
The workshop is designed for startups approaching, planning, or actively raising capital for a first commercial-scale deployment —whether a first plant, production line, or paid demonstration. It is intended for companies whose technology is proven or nearly proven and whose next challenge is financing and executing a capital-intensive FOAK project.
This half-day workshop will combine insights, real-world experience, and hands-on work.
The agenda will include:
- A presentation of key findings from our research on the barriers climate technologies face on the road to commercialization and might oversea.
- A case study discussion with KPMG exploring a climate tech company’s scale-up journey, including the obstacles, mistakes, and strategies that shaped its progress.
- A tailored, hands-on workshop in which each startup will map its own scale-up challenges, examine hidden assumptions and risks, and identify potential barriers to its first-of-a-kind deployment.
- Group reflection and an opportunity to share insights with participating startups and mentors.
If your technology is (almost) proven and your next barrier is financing a capital-intensive first deployment, this is for you.
Tell us about your company and where you are on the road to FOAK.
The event will take place during the PLANETech Week on 22.10.2026.
