BioArmix
Our field-proven technology prevents crop losses, conserves resources and provides an eco-friendly alternative to harmful chemicals.

About Us
BioArmix is a field-proven, nature-based technology that prevents crop losses caused by bacterial diseases using non-GMO, eco-friendly predatory bacteria. Unlike chemical bactericides or indirect biocontrol products, BioArmix directly eliminates plant pathogens without harming crops or the environment, and with no risk of generating resistant bacteria.
We offer a scalable and sustainable alternative to harmful chemicals. Our breakthrough lies in a proprietary formulation that enables the long-term, room-temperature storage of viable predatory bacteria as a dry powder, combined with a cost-effective and scalable production method unmatched globally.
In field trials, BioArmix demonstrated a 7% yield increase and a 65% reduction in post-harvest decay.
While our initial focus is on potatoes, BioArmix’s platform has also demonstrated strong results in controlling aquaculture pathogens and preventing biofilms in irrigation and industrial systems, highlighting its broader market potential.
We aim to launch by 2027, pending regulatory approval, with advanced development already underway.
BioArmix is technically ready and now focused on regulatory execution, scale-up of production, and preparing for commercialization.
Relevant Challenges
Reduce Inputs
BioArmix reduces reliance on chemical inputs by offering a biological alternative to bactericides and antibiotics, which are energy-intensive to produce and often harmful to the environment. Our precision-targeted predatory bacteria eliminate pathogenic bacteria directly, lowering the need for repeated chemical applications and reducing greenhouse gas emissions associated with agrochemical production and use. By improving plant health and reducing disease pressure, BioArmix also enhances nutrient uptake efficiency, indirectly reducing fertilizer demand. Our solution supports integrated crop management strategies, enabling farmers to maintain high yields with fewer chemical inputs, aligning with global goals for more sustainable, low-GHG agriculture
Crop Resilience
BioArmix strengthens crop resilience by preventing bacterial disease outbreaks, which are expected to intensify under climate change due to rising temperatures, humidity, and extreme weather events. Our non-GMO predatory bacteria act rapidly and precisely to neutralize harmful pathogens, protecting plants during vulnerable stages of growth and under stress conditions. By reducing disease pressure, BioArmix helps crops maintain productivity despite environmental variability, shifting pest dynamics, and the expansion of pathogen ranges. This contributes to more stable yields, lower post-harvest losses, and greater food system resilience in the face of climate-driven disruptions
Livestock and Aquaculture
BioArmix extends its predatory bacteria platform to aquaculture, offering a sustainable solution for controlling bacterial pathogens in land-based and recirculating aquaculture systems. Our approach improves fish health, reduces antibiotic use, and minimizes disease-related losses, contributing to more stable feed conversion ratios and higher survival rates. By maintaining healthier aquatic environments, BioArmix supports more efficient, low-impact protein production, aligning with the shift toward sustainable, antibiotic-free aquaculture and improved animal health management
Food Spoilage
BioArmix helps reduce food spoilage by preventing post-harvest bacterial decay, a major contributor to losses in storage, transportation, and distribution. Our solution can be applied directly to harvested crops to eliminate spoilage-causing bacteria, significantly extending shelf life and reducing waste, offering a sustainable, chemical-free alternative to traditional preservatives and cold chain dependence, supporting a more resilient and efficient food value chain.
