EVA
EVA's development has the potential to reduce up to a quarter of CO2 emissions, associated with cement production while also reducing construction and demolition waste landfilling and raw materials mining.

About Us
EVA develops a new building material, partially replacing the cement material, an industry that is responsible for up to 8% of global CO2 emissions. EVA’s patent pending environmentally friendly technology allows activation of construction and demolition waste, which is generated 10 times more than plastic waste.
Relevant Challenges
Waste Management
Innovations in sorting, recycling and recovery processes and infrastructure for optimal conversion and utilization of waste (biomass and inert materials) for the production of new raw materials.
Low Emission Enablers
Materials that their incorporation into products facilitates lower operational emissions (e.g. lightweight composites and novel catalysts) or material efficiency (i.e. enabling a lesser amount of material to be used whilst retaining the same function, such as a reinforcement material).
Low Carbon Elements
Developing low carbon primary construction materials in upstream and on-site production.
