About Us
NUF develops an innovative, circular technology for water and wastewater purification by repurposing medical-grade filtration membranes that would otherwise become hazardous, non-biodegradable waste. Each year, hundreds of thousands of dialysis membranes are discarded worldwide, contributing to environmental pollution despite retaining exceptional filtration performance.
NUF’s proprietary process enables these membranes to be safely cleaned, sterilized, and redeployed for non-medical water applications, transforming medical waste into a high-value resource for water treatment. The technology is protected by international patents and designed for long-term industrial use, including self-cleaning capability through reverse-flow (backwash) operation.
