About Us

Platingo is building a smart logistics platform designed for medium-sized B2B deliveries, with a focus on agriculture, food production, and the food-service sector. The platform optimizes commercial-vehicle routes, reduces empty return rides, and creates a more efficient and sustainable regional supply chain.

As part of our bootstrap strategy, we developed Mini-Platingo, a lightweight operational application currently used by one business and four drivers. Mini-Platingo manages daily routes, delivery sequences, and customer assignments while collecting valuable field data. This real-world operation allows us to refine our technology and generate early revenue before launching the full Platingo platform.

Our long-term vision is to offer a scalable, AI-driven logistics solution that improves delivery efficiency, lowers costs, and measures carbon-emission reductions through the Platingo matrix.

Relevant Challenges

Routing Optimization

Platingo optimizes routing by using AI-based planning to assign the right vehicle to the right route at the right time. The platform automatically considers distance, load volume, delivery urgency, and vehicle capacity — including cold chain needs — to generate efficient routes with minimal detours and delays. It also plans for return rides, consolidates pickups from nearby farms, and dynamically balances driver workloads. This ensures faster, smarter, and more cost-effective routing tailored to the realities of regional fresh produce logistics.

Transportation Modality

Platingo addresses transportation modality by matching the right vehicle type to the right delivery need, focusing on medium-sized, commercial vans instead of large trucks. Our system differentiates between types of cargo — such as cooled vs. dry goods, light vs. heavy loads — and assigns vehicles accordingly. This ensures appropriate use of vehicles for short- to mid-range routes and prevents underutilization of larger trucks or overuse of unsuitable vehicles. By supporting diverse transport modes within the fresh produce sector, Platingo increases efficiency, reduces waste, and enhances last-mile adaptability — especially for small growers and urban deliveries.

Traceability

Platingo enhances traceability by digitally tracking every step of the delivery process — from farm pickup to customer drop-off. Each shipment is documented with time stamps, vehicle ID, product type, quantity, and delivery route. This data is stored in a centralized system accessible to farmers, drivers, and buyers, allowing for real-time updates and post-delivery reviews. Future analytics dashboards will provide historical traceability, quality tracking, and alerts — transforming what is today a manual, opaque chain into a transparent, data-driven process.

Supply Chain Optimization

Platingo optimizes the agricultural supply chain by connecting fragmented actors — growers, drivers, and buyers — through a shared digital platform. Our system replaces manual coordination with real-time planning, dynamic ride matching, and route consolidation. It balances supply and demand across the chain, reduces operational inefficiencies like empty return rides, and shortens delivery times. By turning logistics into a service, Platingo enables small producers to access broader markets while improving freshness, reducing waste, and enhancing overall supply chain performance.

Logistics & Distribution

Platingo streamlines logistics and distribution by offering a centralized platform for planning, executing, and monitoring regional produce deliveries. Instead of relying on fragmented, manual solutions, users access tools for smart vehicle assignment, delivery scheduling, live tracking, and return-route optimization. The platform supports both dry and cold chain transport and adapts to variable shipment sizes. This enables affordable, flexible, and reliable distribution for small and mid-sized producers — turning logistics from a burden into a scalable service.
