About Us
Powerfill is an EV charging management and energy platform built by the creators of SteVe, the world’s widely used open-source OCPP server. Designed around open standards (OCPP 1.6), Powerfill lets charge point operators and site owners manage chargers, drivers, and locations from a single dashboard, without being locked into proprietary systems, and with full control over their data.
Powerfill supports end-to-end operations: site and zone management with real-time monitoring, maps, and alerts; remote charger control (start/stop/reset/diagnostics); and driver management including RFID access control and authentication. The platform also includes smart charging features such as scheduling and charging profile management, with dynamic load balancing planned to help sites operate within power limits.
For scale and integration, Powerfill provides an OCPP API that connects to existing payment, access management, and CMS systems. It also tracks transactions and charging history with detailed session records, with revenue tracking and automated invoicing planned. Powerfill offers a frictionless entry point for smaller operators as well, with a free tier for up to two chargers
