About Us

TurboGen is a publicly traded energy technology company (TASE: TURB) pioneering the transition to decentralized power. We deliver advanced microturbine-based CHP systems that provide a resilient, cost-effective alternative to traditional grid dependency.

Our solutions are engineered for the specific demands of residential and commercial sites, primarily across the North American and European markets. By generating power and heat directly at the point of use, TurboGen systems achieve high efficiency, reducing both energy costs while ensuring 24/7 operational continuity.

Key Advantages:

  • Energy Resilience: Reliable baseload power that operates independently or in parallel with the grid.
  • Economic Efficiency: Reduction in demand charges and overall electricity spending through on-site generation.
  • Operational Simplicity: Patented single-shaft microturbine technology designed for high uptime and minimal maintenance.
  • Modular & Scalable: Compact, low-weight design allowing multiple systems to be installed in parallel to meet energy demand.

Relevant Challenges

Energy Production

TurboGen generates electricity on-site at the point of use through microturbine-based CCHP systems, displacing centralized grid power with decentralized generation. Its proprietary jet-propulsion microturbine achieves high electric efficiency for its class, and its multi-fuel combustion runs on natural gas, hydrogen/natural-gas blends, and diesel, with a hydrogen-ready design that allows a shift toward lower-carbon fuels as hydrogen supply matures.

Energy Transmission and Distribution

By producing power where it is consumed, TurboGen reduces the load drawn from the grid and enables peak shaving for utilities, easing congestion during high-demand periods. Its systems operate in parallel with the grid or independently, and their modular design allows multiple units to be installed together and scaled to a site’s demand, supporting more flexible, distributed energy resources at the building and microgrid level.

Operational Systems

TurboGen delivers electricity, heating, and cooling directly to buildings from a single on-site system, improving the efficiency of energy-demanding building processes compared with drawing grid power and running separate heating and cooling equipment. Designed for multi-family residences, hotels, hospitals, nursing homes, and offices, the systems provide continuous 24/7 heat and power with up to 50,000 hours of runtime between overhauls, reducing both energy costs and operational disruption.
