ZoozPower
ZOOZ Power enables high-power construction and data-center infrastructure to operate beyond grid limits through instantaneous energy buffering

About Us
ZOOZ Power is a power-electronics and energy-storage company that enables high-power electrification in locations where grid capacity is constrained. The company developed and commercialized a flywheel-based energy buffering system that delivers instantaneous, ultra-high power while drawing a significantly lower average load from the grid. This technology was successfully deployed in the EV fast-charging market, validating its performance, reliability, and economic value in real-world conditions. Building on this foundation, ZOOZ Power has developed deep expertise in high-power inverters, grid interconnection, fast-response energy systems, and site-level energy management. Today, the company is expanding its focus to new high-growth markets where grid limitations are becoming a critical bottleneck, including electrified construction sites and AI data centers. In these applications, ZOOZ Power’s non-degrading, high-cycle energy buffering provides a unique advantage by enabling rapid deployment, reducing grid upgrade requirements, and supporting the transition to large-scale electrification
Relevant Challenges
Energy Transmission and Distribution
Our fast-reacting flywheel based system which is scalable from the 100kw up to the 10’s of MW , is an optimal solution for grid inertia, FFR and peak shaving
Energy Storage
Flywheel short term energy storage for energy buffering and peak shaving for the contraction and AI data centers
Power Management
We add an instantaneous energy buffer (a flywheel + power electronics) at the site level, so the data center’s critical equipment can run beyond local grid limits without power instability. By absorbing short spikes and delivering ultra-high power bursts on demand while pulling a lower average load from the grid, we keep power delivery stable and efficient for the servers, storage, and network gear, reducing brownouts/trips and avoiding “oversizing” electrical infrastructure just to handle peaks
Energy Consumption
We reduce wasted energy and overbuild by smoothing peak demand: instead of upgrading the grid connection (or running extra equipment) to handle rare spikes, we supply those spikes from the flywheel and keep the grid draw closer to the real average workload. This lets operators match energy use to actual operational needs, improves overall site efficiency, and supports smarter site-level energy management, especially in constrained locations where power availability is the main bottleneck
